1.) As a Humanities and Social Sciences student, I can offer my skills and knowledge to the community because studying Humanities and Social Sciences it will develop our skill and knowledge to think critically an communicate effectively. I do believe that through the knowledge I have I can use it to educate people that we must protect our surrounding or I must say our nature instead of destroying our mother Earth let's protect it to  avoid different kinds of disaster that might happen and also I will make sure that every Filipino should patronize in our traditions and culture because that is Filipinos for. Many people assume that contribution to the society is the responsibility of those who are already well settled in life and have nothing else to do but it's not. We can offer contribute in a little act kindness, small changes in lifestyles and being responsible one. First thing thing I can contribute is improving myself first. Even though you may not think of this as a great act, it goes a long way in making a difference to the society. By improving my self for being a friendly and approachable person by this kind of way, I do al ot good i n our community. Because negative emotions and bad attitude tend to create bad vibes that spreads around us, which is picked up by other people. so, good vibes only.

REFLECTIONS ABOUT LEARNING, ACTIVITIES, PROGRESS, ACCOMPLISHMENT

The culminating activity was performed last February 7,2019, it was very extraordinary experienced for us. It is because we experience a lot of new things like planning and brainstorming for what is kind of booth we will build and what kind of dance we will perform in order to entertain the audience. I belong to the subject community engagement, solidarity and citizenship and I am glad because I knew that my group mates are all cooperative and active. This kind of activity drain my pocket, as in speaking honestly it needs a fund that can support our plans. Our main enemy during the preparation was the time because we still have our regular class so we decided that every Saturday and Sunday it was the only time that we can make our booth and presentation. We prepare our culminating activity November-February,yes challenging yet tiring. When the day comes I am very happy because I can see the people around us very excited to witness what we prepare for them. We prepare a booth exhibitions in the morning and in the afternoon we have a program consisted of festival dances in the whole world. writing and spoken poetry competition and fashion show that impersonated regarding to their specialized subject and lastly a reenactment  about what Marawi happened. We are all nervous but we still did our best and I know that we did our best to make everything possible. We know that after this event everything will go back to normal. We can now have a regular sleep and time for ourselves because it is indeed very stressful and tiring. It makes me proud whenever I think of the fact that we finish and accomplish such an event that is considered a successful one.

During our preparation in culminating activity, we experience and learn a lot of things. Hard work and patience is more important by doing your task. I can see to some other group that they are really tired. depress and tired but in order to be their booth successful and unique, they really do their best I realized that teamwork is very important and also respect others ideas. Even though its hard and stressful its all worth it. we build  a good relationship by our culminating activity. During culminating I must say that our tears, hardwork, stress and depression that we encountered and experience during our preparation is worth it and I'm so thankful that God help and guide us in order our program to be successful and I can to our audience which is the teachers and the senior high school students that really enjoy to our program and I know someday that what I've experience and learn from our culminating activity serves as a lesson and also a way to achieve my goals

Being a Humanitarians student I'm very proud to say that this strand is excellent, powerful to build your learning . A Humanities student you gained a lot of learning, building your creativity, boosting your confident and others.

The culminating activity is one of the most big event in the humanitarian  students. The worst event I've been experience in my life. The activity was so nice, very applicable as humanitarians it also one of way of being a professional, respectable student. In this activity  it took a lot of time for preparation, managing the activity , sometimes we can say  our self that, I'm quite, but no. This is my time to measure my ability to try my best. It's very hard, tired a lot of money wasted because of this, measure your patient. Sometimes, I experience no breakfast, lunch, lack of sleep, experience stress, depression. But all of this worst feeling help me to find my self as a good student, I know how to control my patient, and I learned to be positive. Everyone helping each other to have a good progress of the entire activity. And everyone want's a good accomplishment. So, during the Culminating Activity last February 7, 2019 it was a very nice event I've been seen. All hard work of Humanitarian student's was very perfect and I say WOW. I reflect my self that if you have a hard work there's a good outcome. I'm very proud of my self to say, you're a nice student girl, stay what accomplished you have.
                                                           - Ruth R. Mahilum

Culminating Activity is required to all Grade 12 Humanities and Social Sciences Strand, it is one way of enhancing the ability of the student to do the things that are needed.

Last February 6, 2019 were so busy making our booth's because every group were assigned to make booth with their corresponding subject. together with my groups we were assigned in Community Engagement, Solidarity and Citizenship. I learned a lot of this subject, because every group should have collaboration in order to accomplished their jobs. On the day of our Culminating Activity every one were nervous of what will happened in that day. Every selected student must performed a different performance like; Festival Dances in Sinulog, India, Singkil, Hola and Balse. and also the true to life story of Sgt. Jeff Sangdaan the Marawi Siege and lastly the Fshion Show. Were selected students must act with their corresponding subjects. THAT COULD BE ALL THANK YOU!
                                                           - Vergel E. Villariel

Our culminating has been done but the memories are still fresh in our mind. Imagine making a very spectacular program without the help of the experts of making a program but not knowing many people as surprised with our program and we humanities and social science students are very proud to what we have done. Even though we waste a lot of money, we waste too much energy and time for the preparation but during the culminating activity, we realized that all our hard works are worth it. Seeing those very beautiful booths and imagining the efforts that we did just to make our exhibition beautiful and excellent. Our preparation is never been easy and some has to do multiple tasks. We had sleepless nights overthinking on what will going to happen to our culminating activity. The day has come, the day we've been waiting for. The showcase of our skills and talents. We show the whole school that we are not just a humanitarian, we show to them what humanitarians can do. As a humanitarian I'm very proud to my strand that I've choose. We humanitarians believed that if they can make it, we can make it to. I learn so  many things regarding to our culminating activity. It mold me to become a responsible student and my self-confidence has been developed. We must love our strand so that we may ale to find our fashion. We humanitarians we are indestructible.
                                                      - Segayno C. Mary Rose

Every Grade 12 student required to have a Work Immersion in order for us to graduate and to have experience but our strand which is Humanities and Social Sciences just required to have Culminating Activity instead of Work Immersion. Our teacher assigned us to make a booth in our different specialized subject and I was assigned in the Community Engagement subject and I am so happy because my group mates are so active and cooperative. Last October 2018, we started to plan on how are we going to make our booth in order for it to be beautiful. Our schedule was so hectic because there is also a practice of different dance festivals but we still spent our time and effort on preparing it. Instead of having a rest every Saturday and Sunday we just go back to school just to make all the things that we need to finish for the booth. We spent a lot of money and frankly speaking it emptied our money. The days before our culmination was so tiring because we build our booth and designed the stage and we did the rehearsal of different dance festivals. At night I prepare all the costumes that I am going to wear for tomorrow and I am so nervous because maybe I can't perform well the dance that I have joined so I keep on practicing.  The day has come, February 07,2019, I early go to the gymnasium because we still have to continue to design the stage and have our last rehearsal. After that, the booth exhibition has started and we so glad because we didn't expect that there will be a lot of people who attend and witness in every booth exhibitions. After the exhibitions, we perform the different dance festivals, fashion show and play the reenactment ( based on true story of Sgt.Jeff Sangdaan) that was being dramatized by HUMSS student and happily we perform the dance well. Spending our time, effort and money are not wasted because the culminating activity was done successfully. Culminating Activity helps us not just to enhance and discover the skills that we have but it also creates a strong bond between us the students. The activity mold us to show what are the knowledge that we have learned and through this activity it will also improve our skills and ability.
